Jyothirmayi is a television anchor turned actress. She has worked with some malayalam films. She started with modelling then ventured into TV and then started acting in films. She made her debut with dileep in Meesa madhavan directed by Lal jose which released in 2002.
Hails from kottayam kerala, she has won Kerala State Film Award for Second Best Actress - Bhavam (2002) as well as National Film Award (Special Mention) - Bhavam (2002).
Her upcoming movie is titled as Sthalam directed and written by Sivaprasad starring Bala, Shweta Menon in the lead role.
